That’s why we brought back an old feature that displays an hour countdown until your next study level, helping you stay focused and driven to keep rocking your studies! This countdown can be found on your ‘Study Stats’ page.

Ever wondered what your online Study Together friends were up to? Great. We’ve just rolled out a new feature called the “Friend Room Indicator”! You can quickly check their profile and find out in which room they’re currently using all their brainpower (and you can join them!).

Have you been receiving a lot of Kudos lately? We’re thrilled to see how you’re inspiring and motivating one another! Now, you can keep track of who’s earned the most Kudos from you on a daily or weekly basis. See who’s been racking up the most Kudos and keep the positive energy flowing.

We've made it way easier to invite friends into study rooms: you can now send invitations directly via our app, instead of having to share a link!

Everyone needs a break from learning to start fresh again. We've added a break game to all our group rooms! Meet Sketchful: a drawing and guessing game that you can play against other students while you take a break from your studies. The game ends automatically when the group break is over.

We've created a dedicated notification centre, so now you can see all of your friend requests, Kudos, study levels, study badges, and room invites in one place.

Positive feedback is motivating, and that's a fact! You can now give and receive 'kudos' to show your study buddies that their hard work is noticed! 🙌

You can now add specific data, like location, university/highschool, and graduation year, to your profile!

You can now add passwords to your custom study rooms, to make sure only invited members join. This is especially useful for gorup projects or private study sessions!

Creating your perfect study environment just got better! Photos are so last season: you can now set YouTube videos as backgrounds in your study rooms✨ Just click the background widget and enter any YouTube link to set the mood.

We’ve partnered up with Tree Nation to make your study sessions as impactful as they are productive! How does it work? It’s simple. While you tackle your goals, Tree Nation tackles their goal: plant trees! The longer you study, the more trees are planted (we’re talking real trees, by the way).

Since we launched DMs two months ago, you’ve sent over 50,000 messages to each other! 🤩 To help you stay even more connected, we’ve just launched group messages - ideally useful for group study sessions.

A lot of you have been sharing your screens on Discord to stay accountable while studying. We’ve just introduced this feature on our platform too, so you can choose whatever way works best for you: cam on, cam off, or screen sharing.

Say hello to our recently launched blog - Study Together Academy - your new go-to resource for all things productivity, study techniques, mental health, and more! You can expect a mix of bite-sized posts and in-depth articles to help you be your best self both in and outside of class!

You asked for access to your study stats inside our study rooms, and we listened. You can now track your progress in real time using our newly integrated study stats widget - without interrupting your study session! We hope this will allow you to be more focused and motivated.

Whenever you reach a new role, you should be celebrated for your hard work! That’s why we are now throwing tons of confetti at you, and also share your achievement in the group chats. We also enabled emoji reactions in the chats, so others can celebrate together with you.

It is now possible to send private chat messages to your friends and study buddies. Simply click on another user’s name or head to the chat rooms page to get the conversation started. We will also introduce group chats soon, so stay tuned.

Custom sounds and backgrounds are now available in group rooms, so you can create your perfect study environment in any room. In case you want to switch between group and solo study, it is now also possible to hide all other users with just one click.

We’ve made it even easier to get to know your fellow students. Just click on a username in any study room to see a preview of their profile.

Community rooms can now be edited after they have been created. This allows you to adjust the number of participants, and to change the description without having to create a new room. On top of that, room creators can now assign multiple admins who are able to edit rooms, and to kick out disturbing users.

50min or 25min, heavy metal or sounds of silence… create a room on your terms! If none of our existing study rooms suits your needs, create one from scratch. All you have to do is set a name, choose a colour, and share the link with your study buddies. This is perfect for anyone struggling with end-of-year exams or those of you who want to workshop specific subjects in a group. Your room will automatically close when the last participant leaves the room.

No more texting, calling, waiting… Just click “Invite Friends” when you’re in a study room and you can copy-paste a magic link to invite them. The more the merrier - your friends are our friends!

You asked, we listened 🙌. From today on, you can listen to community-curated study music in the solo study room! You are able to mix your favourite study music/sounds for even more productive studying. Fancy LoFi music? You got it. In the mood for relaxing nature sounds? Bet. Try it out today! ✨

To help privacy, limit distractions and make group study calls even more fun, you can now blur or replace your background with an image while studying with your camera on! You can choose from 9 different cool backgrounds, try it out today!

Your very own to-do list, all synced within the Study Together app! You probably have a lot of work to do and sometimes it’s easy to get overwhelmed when there seems to be no end in sight. The Study Goals page will help you tackle just that! Break down your work for the day into smaller goals and work on them one by one. Remember to keep your goals realistic and achievable and see how that mountain of work becomes smaller and smaller. Good luck! 💃
